For more than 27 years, it has been ELIC’s unique opportunity to work in incredible places like China, Cambodia, Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar, and Vietnam. We have sent over 9,000 teachers who have taught more than a million students–students who have passed through our classrooms on their way to positions of influence in education, government and business across China and Southeast Asia.

One of the greatest privileges in my life is being able to work with teachers who are making a difference in peoples’ lives. Over the years I’ve heard countless stories of amazing transformation; students once riddled by life’s great questions now filled with potential and hope for the future and teachers once searching for fulfillment at home who tell me their time in Asia has been the highlight of their lives.   

Today, I am more excited about the opportunities presenting themselves to ELIC than I have ever been. Our long-standing commitment to excellence has been recognized by our host governments who frequently ask us to, “send as many teachers as you can.” The opportunities are endless. Doors are opening in remarkable places and we are being asked to share our knowledge, insight and most of all our lives, in lasting friendship. We just need more people like you, who share our vision to make an impact, to join us in this life-changing cause.
