In 1994, ELIC ventured into a country with a unique civilization and highly cultured people--Vietnam. It's a place where the sublime beauty of the country's natural setting is amazing to behold--equatorial lowlands; high, temperate plateaus; alpine peaks; and a patchwork of brilliant green rice paddies. The Vietnamese people, from those living in the teeming metropolis to those in developing cities, are eager to study the English language and explore deep into the lives of their English teachers.
