Int Studies and TESOL
  Overview
The Intercultural Studies and TESOL Master of Arts at Wheaton College provides a full range of professional course work designed to develop specialists in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages who demonstrate a high level of professionalism as the foundation for cross-cultural service. The MA combines 24 semester hours of TESOL core with 8 semester hours of Intercultural Studies core to equip TESOL professionals for service in cross-cultural contexts. All the courses are taught by faculty with extensive cross-cultural experience and offer a synthesis of theory and practice.

In addition to the August certificate, this program can be completed through three intensive summer sessions on Wheaton’s campus and three intensive mid-winter break sessions. Some individuals may be able to transfer credits from previous coursework. Distributed learning courses can be substituted for electives in the intensive sessions.
