In Tibet, a land of mystery and opportunity in the heart of the Himalayas, two million Tibetans live steeped in the traditions of Bhuddism.  As an instructor with the ELIC summer program in Tibet you will have the opportunity to impact lives for eternity as you provide intensive English training to native Tibetans and local Chinese who teach English there.  College-aged teammates will work with middle-school students as more experienced team members will work with the teachers.

This is a rugged assignment for pioneering individuals in top physical condition, who can withstand high altitudes (Lhasa is nearly 12,000 feet).  The beauty of the mountains and the Tibetan people will grip your heart as you learn to love these people where the Truth is slow to take hold.
