Mobilization Advisor, Long-Term
Mobilization Advisor, Long-Term (MALT) is a member of the Candidate Care Team (CCT). This role is responsible for qualifying leads interested in ELIC’s long-term programs and actively moving them through the application process and pre-field preparation process, while effectively documenting correspondence and progress. To be successful, they are responsible for coaching, equipping, and mobilizing committed candidates towards service with ELIC. This position requires aptitude in the areas of coaching, sales, and customer service.

Candidate Care

Actively assesses, processes, and moves qualified long-term candidates from initial interest to commitment according to established CCT benchmarks through individualized messaging and communication

Corresponds regularly with Country Directors, overseas-based personnel, and multiple departments toward the mobilization of long-term and short-term candidates

Coaches and encourages committed candidates in field preparation as it relates to support-raising, professional development, and personal growth

Manages a high volume of candidates at various stages of preparation, prioritizing correspondence alongside competing logistical and administrative tasks

Opportunities for international travel to lead short-term teams or participate in other overseas opportunities as needed
CRM, Administration & Team Collaboration

Oversees candidates within the HubSpot CRM; schedules and initiates opportunities to meet with and re-engage leads and candidates, virtually and sometimes, in-person

Tracks personal and team goals to help prioritize strategic direction and contribute meaningfully to team planning

Creatively contributes to team resources, messaging, and training while collaborating with the CCT and the greater Mobilization department

Collaborates with the broader team through regular meetings and contributes to the team’s strategic direction

Adapts to evolving individual duties as an active CCT member based on team needs and skills available

Performs other duties as assigned by direct supervisor
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No direct reports, but the MALT does oversee an assigned group of committed teachers preparing for overseas service.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree; preference given for Administrative, Communications, Counseling, or Intercultural Studies/Ministry backgrounds or a related field

Overseas and/or cross-cultural experience required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong public speaking ability

Highly motivated, adaptable, and team-oriented; able to prioritize and work under pressure to meet deadlines

Results-oriented and assertive; ability to take initiative, pursue candidates tenaciously, and follow through on each step of the process

Able to enthusiastically cast the ELIC vision and thrive in a high-paced environment

Detail-oriented; able to manage a variety of documentation processes and maintain individualized, accurate record-keeping

Strategic thinker and creative problem solver

Willingness to interact by phone and video conferencing for multiple hours a day, including candidate interviews of 1–2+ hours

Able to type at least 40 wpm

Proficient in MS Office, Apple programs, and Google Workspace; knowledge of other communicative campaign resources and CRMs is a plus

Capable of representing ELIC in a professional capacity

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of sales, recruiting, mobilization, coaching, or ministry experience

Experience with HubSpot CRM

Teaching experience

Prior experience with ELIC, having served in an overseas ELIC role is a significant plus

Knowledge of other communicative campaigns or outreach resources
This is a full-time, 40-hour/week, exempt position, located in ELIC’s Fort Collins, Colorado office, with full-time benefits eligibility.
Compensation: $57,500 – $59,000/annual
ELIC reserves the right to screen based on location.
