GSS Executive Assistant & Teacher Relations Specialist


The purpose of this position is to support the work of the Global Support Services team in providing outstanding customer service to new teacher prospects and supported field offices. The GSS Executive Assistant and Teacher Relations Specialist will work with the Senior Director of Global Support Services to ensure that GSS and teacher needs are met. In this role, you should be an excellent communicator who’s able to grasp the needs of our teachers and brainstorm ways to fulfill them.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with Sr. Director of GSS to regularly evaluate team processes, manuals, methods, and systems for accuracy and needed updates
  • Communicates with the mobilization team to assess teacher candidate progress in documents.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with prospective overseas teachers
  • Interfaces with teachers regarding any scheduling, logistical, or resource needs
  • Prepares material for trainings under the direction of the Sr. Director of GSS and other departmental staff
  • Assists the Sr. Director of GSS with regular administrative tasks (i.e., expense reports, credit card reconciliation), organization, communication, and other projects as needed
  • Collaborate with GSS and Mobi to address teacher needs
  • Assist in making GSS travel arrangements and accommodations
  • Assists in obtaining visas for new long term teachers and coordinates all necessary paperwork and flight information
  • Organize and manage GSS department meetings


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Experience with and/or understanding of international travel and concerns
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, accuracy
  • Able to draft general and professional correspondence 
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Able to represent ELIC in professional manner
  • Ability to work on a team whenever it is necessary
  • Problem solving aptitude
  • Able to work independently and handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks, be flexible and well-organized
  • Proficient in the use of the technology in a global workplace for communication and security needs
  • Able to keyboard 70 wpm
  • Proficient in Microsoft office and Google platforms
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information

Compensation: $19.00/hr-$24.00/hr

This is a full time, exempt position located in ELIC’s Fort Collins, Colorado office.
