Global Duty of Care Manager

ELIC is accepting applications for the position of Global Duty of Care Manager. This position is responsible for the development, oversight, and execution of all policies and procedures related to safety and risk mitigation for company locations across all countries of service. This position ensures that all overseas personnel are equipped to operate in mid- to high-risk environments in a manner that addresses risks to company personnel, programs, and property. The job requires an acute ability to plan for future safety and risk scenarios, to deliver training, to maintain accurate field data, and to advise individual country and North American leadership on safety and risk-related items. The Manager of Global Duty of Care must be willing to learn a variety of technology tools commonly used by virtual teams throughout the company and must exhibit exceptional organizational, decision-making, and communication skills. Travel required.

Position requirements

  • Minimum of a BA in a related field
  • Experience with international travel and concerns
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a related field
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Word
  • Has a working knowledge of Excel and Google Apps
  • Self-motivated, and able to prioritize and carry out tasks with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills
  • Capable of representing ELIC in a professional capacity
  • Fully consents to ELIC’s community covenant and statement of faith
  • Committed to the purpose, vision, and mission of ELIC

Desired but not required

  • Instructor certification in First-aid and CPR
  • Experience working with outside service providers
  • Prior supervisory experience

This is a full time, exempt position located in ELIC’s Fort Collins, Colorado office.
