Cambodia/Lebanon
Internship

Engage

This summer, you have the opportunity to experience cultural immersion and real-world exposure to teaching in an international classroom by serving in two different parts of the world—Cambodia and Lebanon. If you need an internship for school or are looking to serve longer this summer, this is the opportunity for you!

Details

The internship program begins with 4 weeks of service and cultural immersion in Cambodia. Your time here will include in-depth Khmer language study with a local language partner, learning the history and culture of the nation, assisting long-term teachers in the classroom, and experiencing what normal life looks like in Cambodia. After one month, you will travel to Turkey where you will have a brief orientation for your time in the Middle East. After Turkey, you will travel to Lebanon where you will partner with a local fellowship to teach English to Syrian refugees.

For more information on the Lebanon program, refer to the Lebanon Opportunity page.
