GCU Student Resources

Program Support

at GCU includes a graduation team for each student. These teams include the Enrollment Counselor, Student Service Advisor, Teacher’s Education Support, classroom instructor, and technical support with nearly 24/7 availability.

Payment Options

are varying to accommodate a range of circumstances. Financial aid is available for those who qualify, or classes can be paid one at a time. In special circumstances, students may be able to pay for a class in two installments.

Study Materials

are embedded in the online classroom environment and can also be found at GCU’s robust online library or in the Student Success Center.

Program Modality

is asynchronous, meaning that there are deadlines, and students can access the class at any time to work on tasks and turn in assignments. Classes are usually six to eight weeks long, and students are encouraged to take one class at a time.

Learning Methods

Step 1

Discussion Questions

allow students to share ideas and engage asynchronously with other students each week about that week’s material.

Step 2

Assignments

are structured individually so that only instructors see the responses. These allow students to get valuable feedback from instructors.

Step 3

Group Work

encourages collaboration in small groups of three or four to produce a finished assignment for the class.
