Project 5.6

5 countries. 6 months. A life-changing experience.

Project 5.6 is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel to 5 different countries in 6 months. Along the way you’ll impact the future generation as you teach children in refugee camps, share life across meals with locals, collaborate on cultural research projects, and hang out with local university students. Did we mention that you’ll also get to experience some of the world’s most stunning places along the way? Places as unbelievable as Angkor Wat in Cambodia, the Mongolian Steppe, the Great Wall of China, and the Hagia Sophia in Turkey. This unique program is for people of all ages. If you feel like you're ready to move quickly through the application and acceptance process, then try Fast Track. If you would rather start with a phone call with one of our advisors, then visit the Get Started page.

International Community ||| When you go overseas not only do you get to experience a new country and culture, but you also get to build community with people from around the globe. As an expat, you share similar lives, struggles, and can miss home no matter where your passport is from. Elizabeth met Noriko, a Japanese teacher at the school where she teaches English, and they soon became good friends. Sharing life doesn't end in the classroom, it extends to every part of your life abroad. Photo: @thatatthename ||| #china #weareelic
