Project 5.6 is an intense 6-month adventure that takes you and your team to 5 different countries. This experience is unlike any other and will open your eyes to the various work that ELIC teachers do across the globe. Every experience is customized and unique based on the needs and experience of the team.
Thailand is where you’ll start your journey with Project 5.6. You'll meet your team and receive training for your six-month journey with Project 5.6. After orientation, you'll join the global ELIC family as we gather together for our annual conference. It‘ll be an amazing time of community, professional development, and fun. When you’re not in training sessions or sharing meals with amazing people from around the world, you’ll spend time experiencing the warmth and hospitality of the Thai people. There is no doubt that Thailand will be one of the highlights of your time with Project 5.6.
Project 5.6 is without a doubt one of the coolest and most memorable experiences you can have. If you're having a difficult time deciding which country would fit you best, you should experience multiple countries and gain a more clear direction for what's next in life. In each country, you’ll join our local, long-term teams as they transform campuses, cities, and regions through education, sports, leadership development, refugee work, and more.
Project 5.6 is no ordinary journey. It’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. If you’ve got six months and you want to experience something that very few people ever will, don’t wait; join us on this adventure now.
