Mobilization Advisor, Short-Term Programs

The Mobilization Advisor, Short-Term Programs is a member of the Candidate Care Team (CCT). This role is responsible for qualifying leads interested in ELIC’s short-term programs and actively moving them through the application process and the pre-field preparation process, while effectively documenting correspondence and progress. To be successful, they are responsible for coaching, equipping, and mobilizing committed candidates towards service with ELIC. This position requires aptitude in the areas of sales, customer service, and coaching.


Duties & Responsibilities

Reports to Senior Manager, Mobilization Team Operations and Systems (Works closely with the Senior Manager, Candidate Engagement and Field Partnership)

  • Casts vision and sets expectations regarding teaching overseas, serving on a team, and cultural awareness
  • Actively assesses, processes, and moves qualified candidates from initial interest to commitment according to established pipeline stages
  • Strategically manages a high volume of candidates in various stages of preparation, prioritizing correspondence along with competing logistical and administrative tasks
  • Corresponds regularly with Country Directors, overseas-based personnel, Impact Team partners, and multiple departments towards the mobilization of short-term candidates and Impact Teams
  • Coaches and encourages committed candidates in field preparation as it relates to support-raising, professional development, and personal growth
  • Creatively contributes to CCT resources, messaging, and training while collaborating with the CCT and the greater Mobilization department
  • As an active member of the CCT, individual duties may evolve based on skills available to benefit the entire team
  • Potential travel, as needed, to assist the Recruiting Team with lead generation, lead short-term teams, or participate in other overseas opportunities
  • Performs other duties as assigned by direct supervisor

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Overseas experience
  • Highly motivated, adaptable, team-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Able to enthusiastically cast vision of the company and work in a high-paced environment
  • Able to tenaciously pursue and follow up with candidates in efforts to cast vision and encourage steps of faith
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented; ability to manage a variety of documentation processes to provide individualized and accurate record-keeping
  • Willingness to interact by phone and video conferencing  for multiple hours a day, including interviewing each viable candidate for up to 1 or more hours
  • Able to type at least 40 wpm
  • Able to work in MS Office programs, Apple programs, and Google Workspace; knowledge of other communicative campaign resources and CRMs is a plus
  • Capable of representing ELIC in a professional capacity
  • Fully agrees to ELIC’s community covenant and statement of faith

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preference given for Administrative, Communications, Counseling, Intercultural Studies/Ministry backgrounds or a related field
  • Prior Experience with ELIC
  • Experience with HubSpot CRM

This is a full-time, 40-hour/week, exempt position, located in ELIC’s Fort Collins, Colorado office with full-time benefits eligibility.

Compensation:  $56,500 – $58,000/annual
