| The Mongolian way of life is certainly nomadic – much of their livelihood is dependent on animals. Despite urbanization, the traditional nomadic lifestyle thrives. Even in the cities, most Mongolians continue to live in gers, which are large, white felt tents that can be easily moved from place to place. With camels wandering in the Gobi Desert and wild horses galloping across the steppes, Mongolia remains one of the last great adventure destinations in Asia. |
